Consensus

Consensus rules are a specific set of the most important rules that determine and regulate how the blockchain should function. These rules are used in Consensus algorithms to validate blocks and transaction. To achieve consensus it is necessary for all the nodes to have a common opinion and approaches to the way they should work. One of the functions of the consensus protocol is to protect all participants of the network from undesired interference of third-party regulatory bodies.
